Underpinning
Underpinning is the process of strengthening and stabilizing the foundation of an existing building or other structure by hydraulically pushing commercial-grade, structural steel tubing deep into competent soil.
Piers are used to stabilize structures and have the ability to return them to their original elevation.
Compaction Grouting
Compaction Grouting is used for soil stabilization, soil densification, and void filling during foundation repair.
A cementitious grout mixture is pumped into the ground to fill any voids or anomalies.
Chemical Grouting
Chemical grouting is the process of injecting a high-density polyurethane mixture into the ground to stabilize soils within ten feet from the base of a foundation's footer.
Laielli Construction uses a high-density expanding resin that densifies and stabilizes compressible soils.
Grout Injection Piers
Using grout injection piers combines elements of underpinning and compaction grouting.
First, pressure pier underpins are installed on the foundation of the house. Next, compaction grout is pumped into the base of the piers to give each pier a solid platform to rest upon.
